Hi Friend,
Thank you for reading Curious Compassion! Your support means so much to me and encourages me to keep putting these words out into the world whenever I feel like maybe I’m the only one who needs them.
If you’ve found yourself impacted by this monthly essay, it would be so helpful to me if you invited friends to read with us.
Many folks don’t know this – but in order to publish a book (one of my dreams) it’s important that a writer do the legwork of building a readership first (in this case — my email list). To that end, whenever someone joins my list, I do a little happy dance! So, if you’d like to help me dance a little more in 2024, you can do that by referring friends to Curious Compassion. There are lots of ways you can do that of course! The most informal way is just by sharing about it on your social media platforms or talking to your friends. Think of how often you do this anyway – when you eat at a great restaurant, get a great deal, hear awesome new music, or a solid word from a bible teacher…
My referral program piggybacks on this idea, but makes it a little more official by helping you reap the benefits of your referrals.
How to participate:
1. Share Curious Compassion. When you use the referral link below, or the “Share” button on any post, you'll get credit for anyone who subscribes using your link. Simply send the link in a text, email, or on social media. EASY-PEEZY-LEMON-SQUEEZY.
2. Get those bennies. As friends or family members subscribe using your link, you’ll receive paid subscription benefits!
3 subscribers = 1 month of paid subscription complimentary!
8 subscribers = 3 months of paid subscription complimentary!
15 subscribers = 9 months of paid subscription complimentary!
What comes with a paid (but complimentary to you in this case) subscription you ask? Friend, I’m so glad you asked…
Access to a monthly Zoom meeting with other folks wanting to grow in compassion. These are called Compassionate Conversations.
A private Instagram community where I post discussion questions from Curious Compassion, things I’m thinking about for upcoming essays, instances of compassion around the world, or where I wish we’d see more of it.
And occasional, more personal reflective essay or book recommendation.
My hope is that in the past 12 months of essays (the entirety of 2023!) you’ve been touched by this ministry called Curious Compassion. And that because you’ve been touched you’ll participate in this small gesture of compassion toward me. Referring new readers is truly being with me in the work.

Thank you so much for helping me get the word out about Curious Compassion!
Happy New Year!
